Job Description:
As the Dining Room Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the dining room at our prestigious country club, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests. You will manage the dining room staff, coordinate with the culinary team, and maintain high service standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to contribute to the upscale dining experience at our club.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for all dining room operations.
- Recruit, train, and manage dining room staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and enforce dining room policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate service, as well as the quality and presentation of food.
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of the dining room, including table settings, décor, and cleanliness.
- Handle member and guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and a focus on satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage inventory for dining room supplies, including linens, tableware, and beverages.
- Assist in planning and executing special events, banquets, and private functions within the dining room.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with other departments, including catering, events, and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in dining room or restaurant management, preferably in a country club or upscale environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on member and guest satisfaction.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in dining room management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
