As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience. You will lead and mentor a diverse team, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the overall success and profitability of the restaurant. Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for all restaurant operations.
- Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management, to achieve profitability goals.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining optimal levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu quality and consistency, while also introducing new and innovative dishes.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Represent the restaurant at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume or upscale environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
